Week 35

Can a pregnant woman live on no sleep? It seems that general consensus says, YES! But that doesn't mean that they are happy about it.

Moon is having trouble getting comfortable as we past the 1 month countdown to launch. The couch is no longer the place to relax after work. She pretty much goes right to bed. It seems that a bunch of pillows can get her semi-comfortable, at least to the point where she can do a little reading (she's been reading baby books quite a bit lately) and watch some TV.

That same set up seems to get her a couple hours of sleep here and there. I'd hate to be her employees when she's not getting her rest :( She's just not the shiny, happy person that she normally is. I think she needs some time off (like 6 weeks). I keep on telling her "soon enough," but I don't think that does much good.

She also went to get the official car seat inspection. They found a problem with the way that I did it, but I think they have to do that to justify their jobs. Just kidding. I'm clueless. It's nice to have a service like that.

My car is the official baby car. We decided to keep most of the baby travel in there because mine is the more reliable car (knock on wood). I wanted to get that car seat inspection before she went to the hospital. I like to be prepared. Who nows, Sammy could come to visit at any time now.

Moon also had a couple baby showers at work this week. The front desk staff and the housekeeping staff gave her separate showers. They were all so kind and she loved it. The food and gifts (especially the food) were appreciated. These were both so unsuspected, she was really surprised and honored that they would go through all that trouble.
