Week 27
BABY CLASSES BEGIN !!!
Ok, I'm not really that excited, but I'm trying. I knew what this would mean...the dreaded video.
Around the time that we found out Moon was pregnant, I went Google crazy. I looked up everything that I could think of. One of the items that I found was a video of a baby being born. I think that I've seen similar videos on TV documentaries, but this one was graphic beyond the boundaries of television shows. There was no way that I was going to show that to Moon.
Well, when we signed up for the prenatal classes I knew that the video would be a part of the process. When we walked into the classroom, I noticed that a video was part of the agenda. Needless to say, Moon got her first glimpse of birth and she was freaked out. "How does it get through that little hole"?
I think that we are going to spend the next few months calming her down :)

OK guys, the classes are the worst part! I'm not kidding. We started skipping after the second one (I know, sounds like high school all over again, doesn't it?) because I just couldn't bear to watch all the moaning and groaning and pain. I know there are horror stories, but I'm here to tell you that it's not that bad. What I mean by that, of course, is that it's terrible but you forget it after a while. You even get nostalgic for it. Just today I was thinking about how much I loved being in labor, what a wonderful experience that was. Must be the sleep deprivation--that's something you'll know all about soon enough. It makes you CRAZY!! Good luck!
