Surprise!
Surprise! Moon's pregnant.
Well, maybe not too much of a surprise. The URL for the blog takes the guesswork out of it.

+ marks the spot where our lives change forever. After a couple of these just to make sure, we went to the doctor and confirmed it about a month ago. Moon was already 2 months along.

Going to the OB
We went to the OB for the first time on Wednesday. I don't think that the realization had fully hit us until we heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time. I guess that is the case with a lot of people. Missing your period and having clothes get a little tight just isn't good enough.
The doctor confirmed that Moon was likely at the end of her first trimester (about 13 weeks). We were waiting until the 2nd trimester as most folks do these days (risks go down now) to let everyone know. So.....now you know :)
