Week 18
I should be thankful that everything is going so smoothly, but it really doesn't give me much to right about. :-)
We went to see the O.B. on Wednesday. It took us longer to park than it took him to do the check up. The books should have prepared us for it. They all say that most of these appointments are quick, but it still seems strange.
We went in, Moon to the glucose tests (nice way of saying pee tests ;) she laid down on the table, we listened to the baby's heartbeat, then the OB was out the door. I did stop him and ask a couple questions. I have to feel like I'm getting my money's worth
Thankfully, everything's looking good.
He did say that the ultrasound indicated that the placenta was down by the cervix. I hate when they use non-technical language because it makes it tough to Google! I found it though. I'm just that good. It's called Placenta Previa and it's nothing to worry about at this time in the pregnancy. 90% of women that need a follow-up, find that it has moved out of the way by the 3rd trimester. (that's just what the doc said, but I always go for a 2nd opinion online :)
