Week 16 - Delayed
Ok, don't kill me. I'm running behind. Moon has made it clear that Sammy is going to resent me if I don't keep his blog up to date :)
Maybe one reason that I didn't post anything for week 16 was because it was uneventful (hope they all are). The re-analysis of the baby's progress began to make more sense. We were waiting for the first trimester blahs to be over, what we didn't realize was that she was still in the first trimester.
Moon isn't gaining much weight, but I AM! Her loss of appetite means thats I've been making 2 or 3 dinners in hopes of her liking one of them...I've been eating what she doesn't. This made it very clear that her big boy needed some exercise.
After finding a good deal on a treadmill (at Costco, of course), we had to find some way of getting it home. Our cars couldn't handle this monster if we drive side-by-side all the way home. We finally found an unlucky husband of one of Moon's friends to help us out (THANKS CHUCK!). He volunteered both his truck and his body and we needed both. The box weighs in around 500lbs! It took 4 people to load it into the truck and we broke it all down to get it out of the truck. That was a workout in its own right.
So, we now have a HUGE treadmill right in front of our TV downstairs and it will never move.
